Hello all you Mafia members, I come bringing you as my name promises inside information. I cannot say who I am but I have many connections and sources high up with many MLB organizations and they tell me things you won’t hear otherwise. I am not here to fool anyone, if you would like to believe me good for you. Many people have been pleased with information I’ve been able to provide them. Here are my first tidbits of information I bring to you regarding deals that were discussed at the trade deadline.

    - The Yankees put in a call about Johan Santana and told he most likely will be open for shop in the winter
-The Yankees were also involved with a deal with the Angels. Giambi, Farnsworth and Melky Cabrera for Brandon Wood, Justin Spier and Ervin Santana, however i’ve been told the names change alot.
    - Alex Rodriguez is going to opt out at the end of the year and the Angels are considered the front runner because of the oppurtunities in LA for him, along with winning a championship.
    - Scott Boras will know september 15th who will pay him what.

All my best until my next post.

    Thanks

Where do you hear Andruw Jones will be playing in 2008 ?

Will David Wells actually become John Daly’s Caddie in 2008 ?

Who is the 1 st manager to be fired in the offseason ?

Who is the next manager of the Kansas City Royals ?

Will anyone take Todd Heltons contract ?

Hey Tony, I’ve got some answers for you.

Andruw Jones: He is in a interesting situation because he is having a total opposite year that everyone thought he’d have. I’ve been told the Braves won’t have much of a shot, they will be bogged down. (There is a reason they get Texieria when they did). From what I’m hearing there is a good possibility he could wind up in LA Chicago (White Sox) or maybe Boston. I haven’t heard about him in a bit.

That’s pretty funny with David Wells, alot of people are surprised he’s still alive and kickin’ than let alone pitching in the big leagues.

I do know about the first manager who will go, well timetable aside no one ever knows but I can’t post it here. I know who it will be and it is a big time skipper. If you are able to contact me personally on my email address and then I might be able to tell you.

    - Joe Girardi has a serious shot at being the Royals skip next year along with Phil Garner.

    - Not many people are a fan of that contract, Angels and Boston were in on him for a bit but than it cooled. But if anyone took him those two are high suspects, (More likely Boston due to likely player movement with their infield this offseason).

I hear that Terry Pendleton is a front runner. Is there any chance of this. I loved him as a player.

  6. tonyfromkc — August 31, 2007 @ 6:00 pm

    Pendleton as the KC Coach

  8. tonyfromkc — August 31, 2007 @ 6:30 pm

I never thought of that..I have never seen Jaba hit.

  9. rd411 — August 31, 2007 @ 6:31 pm

Pendleton could work wonders with Gordon and Butler wouldnt be a bad move for the Royals.

Hey again guys, I’ve got an open Friday night so I’m back for a bit.

    - Pendelton has the highest shot yes, but out of all outside candidates don’t be surprised if Girardi winds up taking the job.

    More soon.

    Be Well.
