It’s a tragedy to lose a friend, colleague and especially family member, but when you’re a huge fan of the game of Baseball as we all are, there’s a connection between the athletes and the fans to some degree that shouldn’t be ignored.

When players I enjoy watching retire, switch teams, or die there’s a part of me that gets emotional and when that player’s young with a family it hurts just a little bit more.

Take a minute to learn some facts about Major League Pitcher Joe Kennedy.

At the end of the year, I wrote this article

http://www.fantasybaseballmafia.com/blog/grandjury/2007/10/27/if-i-were-my-favorite-team%e2%80%99s-rl-gm/

and in it, I said I would have added Joe Kennedy to my roster if I were my teams GM.

Rest in peace Joe.
