I wanted to drop a quick note to mention that over the next few weeks, we will be making improvements to our site and changing many things around. I had thought that a simple Site revamp would accomplish everything I want to give to the members but more work is need to accomplish this vision.

The Wire Tap and FBM Live will still be available and you should see no interruption.

As we prepare for the upcoming season we want to go ahead and make these changes to our site now prior to the 08 season kick off. Please check back often as much of the work may well be behind the scenes and be of no inconvenience at all.

If you experience a problem, or see a change that needs to be made, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line at Godfather(AT)FantasyBaseballMafia.com

We look forward to making your Fantasy Baseball Mafia experience even better!

Lenny Melnick’s Control the Draft Strategy was featured on FantasyBaseballMafia Live. Tony Cincotta asked Lenny Melnick to give his expert advice to the FantasyBaseballMafia Community. Lenny also has given his outline to the Grand Jury. You can listen to the show on the front page at FantasyBaseballMafia.Com. It is truly fascinating stuff from the legend. Jonathan Mayo will Join Tony Cincotta on Thursday the 17th of January on Fantasy Baseball Mafia Live! Jonathan Mayo is a senior writer for MLB.com and recently focused his efforts on covering minor league baseball and, notably, the baseball draft. Mayo worked on the broadcast team assembled for ESPN’s coverage of the first televised baseball draft in 2007, interviewing draftees after their selections. He is responsible for compiling MLB.com’s definitive list of baseball’s Top 50 prospects and has covered the Arizona Fall League, baseball’s winter meetings and many other events.

A great guest with alot of Knowledge, look for them this Thursday the 17th of January on Fantasy Baseball Mafia Live!

The Fantasy 411 is an internet radio show hosted by Mike Siano and Cory Schwartz. Each year they compete with listeners in the coveted “fantasy 411 listener league”. The Fantasy 411 radio show on MLB sponsors 5 leagues but the hosts only play in one, the 411 league.

I’m happy to announce that on Thursday the 10th of January’s Fantasy 411 radio show, Mike Siano announced I would fill the vacant spot left by Stray in the 411 league.

I’ve wanted to Play in the Fantasy 411’s Fantasy baseball League since I found the 411 years ago, to be able to pit yourself against the pro’s, we all share that dream don’t we?

I will be drafting using the Fantasy Baseball Mafia top 420 rankings for the 2008 season. Luke in Nova Scotia is our Director of stat based research and assures me that he will send me in to battle with updated rankings and all the tools I need to win my draft; the same tools we will be offering to you, our members.

If it’s good enough to put the Fantasy baseball Mafia name on, then it’s a set of rankings I’m willing to go to battle with.

Follow along all season as I update you on the progress of our Fantasy Baseball Mafia team in the Fantasy 411 League. I hope to bring you news of our dominance, including trades of interest, smack and the complete fantasy 411 draft.

Stay tunes as the Godfather goes to war…

Fantasy Baseball Mafia.com held it’s first fantasy baseball mock draft last night over at mock draft central. Below you will find the results of last nights first mock. I think 11 owners were present, and the chat room was full of chatter. Thanks to everyone who participated.

If you have nothing better to do at 1:00 in the morning why not a Mockdraft to tire you out. I had the second pick in the draft and fellow Mafia member Matt in Cincy had the the third pick. It is too much info to list the whole drafts so I will just list our picks.
