The Reds honored Craig Biggio in yesterdays game and presented him with a second base, framed and brought out by Ken Griffey Jr. A great gesture from the Reds for a man who has meant so much to baseball for so long.
Since 1957, Biggio is only the third player to have 1,000 career at-bats against the Reds, joining Willie Mays and Hank Aaron. Not a bad group to be associated with if you ask me.
From one Reds fan to you Mr Biggio, Thanks for the memories and everything you’ve done for my fantasy baseball team over the years.

Ken Griffey Jr (outfielder Reds) has a lower abdominal strain and will return to Cincinnati instead of going to San Francisco.
“You guys know as much as I do,” Griffey said. “The best way I can describe it is it felt like somebody bungee jumped off my right nut.”

Griffey Jr has been playing through a groin pull for a couple of weeks, “It’s been a little sore for a while.”
Griffey aggravated or worsened his condition on a single to right by Derrek Lee. Jr had to underhand the ball to Phillips before limping off the field to a Standing ovation by the fans at Wrigley Field.
“That outfield is dangerous Adam Dunn said. I’m surprised more people don’t get injured out there. It’s as bad as there is. It’s worse than playing in a parking lot, It looked like they had a monster truck rally. There’s potholes. It’s bad. It’s unsafe.”
