The Denver Post reports that Yorvit Torrealba, who just agreed to a two-year, $7.25 million deal with the Rockies with an option for 2010, did have his deal with the Mets fall apart over concerns arising from a physical.Rockies reporter Troy Renck writes: “Torrealba’s agent, Melvin Roman, is weighing filing a grievance against the New York Mets. Torrealba signed a term sheet with the Mets for a three-year, $14.4-million deal, only to watch it dissolve after concerns over his physical.”
